Post Operation

After your surgery, a prescription for pain management may be provided. For larger procedures, post-operative instructions will be given regarding any necessary wound care.

If non-dissolvable sutures or staples are used, they will need to be removed 7-10 days after your surgery. The ACU1 Department at Health Sciences North will contact you to schedule this appointment.

Once we receive the pathology results (approximately 2-3 weeks post-surgery), Dr. Szeto’s office will reach out to you to arrange a follow-up appointment.
